She grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and was an only child, went to an all girls catholic school, where she excelled. Studied psycholgy and did social work as a way to cope with her parents divorce. Lost her mother at 20 and moved to Miami in search of her biological father. Married the wrong man twice, that took her down the wrong road. Unable to have children, and exhausted from substance abuse, she leaves her husband, Tony, who is later killed and never looked back. As a way to start over, she finally finishes & graduates school with a degree in business and hospitality. Now, a reformed, recovered woman, she opens a bar where she can relive Miami in the 80’s, this is her place, this is Elvira. @elvira_tij
