Friends of BOBO’S… Sadly, this past Saturday night after closing, there was a small fire that started in the exhaust chimney at the Bobo’s in Centro. Fortunately, some friends of Bobo’s were passing and noticed the flames coming out of the chimney and were able to control the fire with extinguishers until the fire department arrived to put the fire out completely.
To our friends who came to our rescue, you know who you are, we are eternally thankful and you most probably saved the building from burning to the ground. Because of your efforts, the damage was not extensive, but there was enough damage done that we will need to close the kitchen for repairs before we will be able to fully reopen again.
In the meantime, The bar at Bobo’s will be open today at 3 pm, Mariana will be there to serve your favorite drinks and we will be serving food from our good friends at Pizza Amore down the street, starting at 4 pm.
It does not make sense to dwell on the negative, done is done, but your support would surely be appreciated. Thank you.
