🎺 MILES – Live jazz & theatre celebrating the life of Miles Davis 🎭
Following a sell-out run at Edinburgh Fringe 2025, MILES is now playing a month-long run at Southwark Playhouse Borough .
Written and directed by Oliver Kaderbhai, conceived by acclaimed trumpeter Jay Phelps, and performed alongside actor Benjamin Akintuyosi, this powerful two-hander brings to life a shifting cast of characters — including Miles Davis himself — travelling through time, memory and musical revolution.
Inspired by Davis’ autobiography and archival recordings, MILES has been described as “a hypnotic, smoke-laced fever dream”, exploring addiction, reinvention and the explosive cost of genius.
★★★★ “This hypnotic play… works superbly” — The Times
