Enjoy great food, ocean views, and live music from the Epick Duo, featuring Handys on saxophone and Hubell on guitar (playing upside-down!), this Cuban-trained duo brings an elegant, fresh mix of Latin, jazz, pop, and bossa nova right to the beach.
Handys is a professional saxophonist, performer, and music educator currently based in Mérida, Yucatán. He performs at concerts, weddings, restaurants, and private events, bringing a versatile repertoire that ranges from Latin and Cuban music to pop, jazz, bossa nova, and contemporary styles. He is also dedicated to teaching and developing new musicians.
Hubell is a talented playing upside down guitarist and a member of the well-known band El Fresa y La Sentencia in Mérida, Yucatán. His experience and versatility as a guitarist allow him to adapt to different musical styles and create a great connection with the audience.
These two professional musicians originally trained in Cuba, where their musical journey began. They studied music formally and have explored a wide variety of musical genres and styles throughout their careers.
Together, they bring a combination of saxophone and guitar with a fresh, elegant, and versatile sound, perfect for creating a special atmosphere for events and live music experiences.
