Officially opened in 1986, La Grotta is situated on the downhill stretch of roadthat links Gozo's capital Victoria with the idyllic Xlendi Bay. Unique is too tame aword to describe La Grotta, as it's ambiance makes it not only one of the BestClubs in the Maltese islands, but also one of the best in the world - the UKnewspaper "The People" concluded that La Grotta has "one of the mostbeautiful dance floors in the Meditteranean". daily "The Miami Herald"called it "the most beautiful NightClub int the World", whilst Cosmopolitan magazinegushed over La Grotta's natural setting in such a manner that quoting themwould take a long to read! La Grotta houses both outdoor and indoor dance floors, The Outdoor dancefloor gives you an idea as to why this club is so revered in local and international circles, as it gives you an unspilt and magical view of a winding valley resplendent with tall bamboo plants sprouting upward all the way down to the foot of the hills that surround the area, whilst the experience is enchased with no less then 5 bars ampngst the exotic palm trees that surround them, a chill out area and a catering outlet if you feel peckish. The indoor area is no pushover either - a large NATURAL CAVE boasting three bars.
