Xewkija square is a typical Gozitan square with the magnificent façade of the church enhancing its beauty and the Cross of the Square which dates back to the 17th Century, a meeting point where through the generations, local residents shared and are still sharing their stories and experiences.
The name of the restaurant which is in French was derived from the place of its location in the square, which is behind the cross where it was a meeting point for the locals.
Rendez-vous will continue to enrich the experience of whoever comes to visit the square and enjoy the surrounding environment. A quality and relaxing place in the beautiful old Gozitan village offers a compelling atmosphere. Enjoy the rooftop terrace overlooking the square and the church. A daily menu, all freshly prepared in the wooden oven, including fresh fish, steaks and the chef’s daily specials. Different types of platters will also be offered with a wide selection of local and international wines to compliment the mouth watering food.
