Le Petit Chef , the world's smallest chef, is returning to Malta after 5 years and this time round, he's bringing little friends. This super interactive, theatrical and immersive dining experience, featuring in 52 countries, uses 3D projection mapping to turn the table into a miniature stage, with the animated chef appearing directly in front of diners to prepare, plate and generally make a theatrical production out of each course before the real thing arrives.

I've noticed that reviews around the world have been mixed, but the 💩 ones tend to come from when it's in larger chain hotels or cabaret venues where the food isn’t an equal event. Malta did rather well the first time around (tried and tested) and this time, it will be located at a Mediterranean fusion restaurant in Mellieha limiting seats to just 32 guests per show, showing that food won't be an afterthought
