If you make your way across the bridge, past the boats and through our open gates you will find a home-made, up-cycled 'den' of music and mayhem... called the FUNKY MONKEY. Graffitied crackled walls and mismatched furniture, musical jems, chilled days, sunsets and random evenings... an array of eccentric characters, flowing drinks, stage diving, mosh pits, and funky dancing.

r rusty door in late 2015 Funky Monkey has been a staple of the underground live Maltese music scene playing host to a diverse range of local and International bands and DJ's. At Funky we love to showcase new and emerging bands and artists as well offering a relaxed, shabby yet comfortable home away from home to spend your lazy days and crazy nights. We have played host to hundreds of bands and dj's, whole day open air celebrations, kids parties, eclectic boutique stalls to food festivals. By day we offer you somewhere warm and welcoming for a coffee, lunch or to meet friends and by night we turn into the perfect venue for exciting music, events and dancing (of course!). We are also open into the early hours... so if you just don't want the night to end, we'll be there with an open bar. At Funky you can always expect the unexpected... what we can say?
