Good players do not only play well — they also respect the rules.
ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ကစားသမားဆိုတာ ကစားကောင်းရုံမက စည်းကမ်းကိုလည်း လေးစားတတ်သူပါ။
Here are some basic rules every billiard and snooker player should know.
Billiard နဲ့ Snooker ကစားသူတိုင်း သိထားသင့်တဲ့ အခြေခံစည်းကမ်းအချို့ကို မျှဝေပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။
1. Wait for your turn.
၁။ ကိုယ့်အလှည့်ကို စောင့်ပါ။
Do not stand too close, talk loudly, or distract another player while they are aiming.
တခြားကစားသမား ချိန်နေချိန်မှာ အနီးကပ်မရပ်ပါနဲ့၊ အသံကျယ်ကျယ်မပြောပါနဲ့၊ အာရုံမပျက်အောင် ဂရုစိုက်ပါ။
2. Do not touch the balls by hand.
၂။ Ball တွေကို လက်နဲ့ မထိပါနဲ့။
Unless it is allowed by the rule or the referee, balls should not be moved by hand.
စည်းကမ်းအရ သို့မဟုတ် referee ခွင့်ပြုထားတာ မဟုတ်ရင် ball တွေကို လက်နဲ့ မရွှေ့သင့်ပါ။
3. Keep the table clean.
၃။ Table ကို သန့်ရှင်းစွာထားပါ။
Do not put food, drinks, bags, phones, or personal items on the table.
အစားအစာ၊ အချိုရည်၊ အိတ်၊ ဖုန်း၊ ပစ္စည်းတွေကို table ပေါ်မတင်ပါနဲ့။
4. Chalk properly, but do not over-chalk.
၄။ Chalk ကို မှန်ကန်စွာသုံးပါ၊ အလွန်အကျွံမသုံးပါနဲ့။
Using too much chalk can dirty the table cloth and affect the game.
Chalk အလွန်အကျွံသုံးရင် table cloth ညစ်ပတ်ပြီး ကစားပွဲကိုလည်း ထိခိုက်နိုင်ပါတယ်။
5. Respect the cue and equipment.
၅။ Cue နဲ့ ပစ္စည်းတွေကို ဂရုစိုက်ပါ။
Do not hit the cue on the floor, lean on it too hard, or use it carelessly.
Cue ကို ကြမ်းပြင်နဲ့ရိုက်တာ၊ အလွန်အမင်းဖိထောက်တာ၊ မဂရုမစိုက်သုံးတာ မလုပ်ပါနဲ့။
6. Call staff if there is a problem.
၆။ ပြဿနာရှိရင် staff ကိုခေါ်ပါ။
If balls are stuck, equipment is damaged, or there is any confusion about rules, please ask our staff for help.
Ball တစ်ခုခုကပ်နေတာ၊ ပစ္စည်းပျက်နေတာ၊ စည်းကမ်းနဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး မရှင်းလင်းတာရှိရင် staff ကို အကူအညီတောင်းပါ။
7. Show good sportsmanship.
၇။ အားကစားသမားကောင်းစိတ်ဓာတ် ရှိပါ။
Win with respect, lose with respect, and enjoy the game together.
နိုင်လည်း လေးစားမှုရှိပါ၊ ရှုံးလည်း လေးစားမှုရှိပါ၊ အားလုံးအတူတူ ပျော်ရွှင်စွာ ကစားကြပါ။
