Executive Chef - Male (1) Post
☑️ Job Description
- Design and develop an authentic and diverse European & Thai menus that aligns with our concept and target audience.
- Regularly review and update the menu to ensure variety, freshness and seasonal offerings.
- Oversee the day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of all culinary activities.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, cooking techniques, plating, and presentation to maintain consistency and quality.
- Monitor food costs, portion control, and inventory management to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to source high-quality ingredients and maintain relationships with trusted suppliers.
- Lead and inspire the culinary team, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to enhance their skills and experts in European & Thai cuisines.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Create a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP regulations.
- Maintain strict quality control measures to consistently deliver dishes that meet or exceed our guests' expectations.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews and make necessary adjustments to enhance the dining experience and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining areas.
- Stay update on the latest trends, techniques, and developments in European & Thai cuisines and the culinary industry as a whole.
- Attend workshops, culinary events, and trade shows enhance your knowledge and bring new ideas to the kitchen.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage the team to explore and experiment with new flavors and ingredients.
☑️ Job Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years and above Management level experience in F & B field.
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in European cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of various European & Thai culinary traditions, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively oversee kitchen operations and a diverse team.
- Excellent creativity and the ability to develop unique and innovative European inspired dishes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and effectively interact with customers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
