Spiced Cauliflower & Kurundu Cashew Nut Stir Fry.

Built around flavours most Sri Lankans know by heart — curry leaves, mustard seeds, roasted cashews, and warm spices coming together in a way that feels familiar from the very first bite. Golden cauliflower tossed through it all, simple but full of character. 🥥🫓

Served with soft coconut rotis and mint chutney on the side, it’s the kind of dish that doesn’t need much explaining… you just keep going back for more.

Meet Pathum! Our head chef who keeps everything moving behind the scenes at Kurundu.

Born and raised along the south coast of Sri Lanka, a lot of what he cooks comes from memory… the kind of food you grow up with and carry with you.

Most days, you’ll find him in the kitchen trying something new, adjusting little details, tasting as he goes, and going back and forth until everything comes together just right. He works closely with local fishermen and markets, building relationships and choosing ingredients he trusts, so every dish is fresh and made with attention to detail.
