Cantina Sociale Reclaiming wine as the drink of the people! Cantina Sociale is a self-service wine shop, bar and café concept based in Beirut. What is a Cantina Sociale?

We carry wines from Lebanon, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, USA, Chile, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Our branch in Achrafieh is a charming setting for breakfast, lunch and Saturday Brunches complete with live music and Sangria! Enjoy our tree-shaded terrace by dining al fresco or choose a cozier setting in-store. Our robust internet connection makes Cantina a popular choice for work lunches and visiting digital nomads. In the evenings, the lights go down and the wine bar comes alive with music and events, pop by for wine tasting and cheese boards. The best part of all: we have 19 wines available to sample through our dispenser machines daily. Feel free to peruse at your ease or make use of our convenient tasting guides. We have all of your wine shopping needs covered from dinner wines to gift boxes and corporate gifting. In Italy, a cantina sociale (“soh-tchal-eh”) is a winemaking cooperative. Local member vineyards work together sharing grapes, equipment and knowledge to make and sell wine. As a community they not only find greater success in the market but are better able to promote their shared identity: the unique nature of their region's wines. We appreciate this ideology of strength through shared knowledge and common ground. More importantly, and in this same spirit, we want to remove any pretentious airs surrounding wine and reclaim it as the drink of the people!
