🎨 Phnom Penh's makers are coming to Pomelo. A quarterly gathering of art, design and objects made in Cambodia, hosted at Pomelo Bar, an iconic mid-century property in the heart of Phnom Penh.

We love Phnom Penh's creative community, and we're building a space where it can meet, show and sell.

Studio Sakura and Pomelo Bar are teaming up to create a small, community-based market celebrating the artists, designers and makers working in the Kingdom.

Our aim is simple: to create an accessible place to discover good work, meet the people behind it and support local creativity.

We're keeping it small, relaxed and design-forward, with a mix of independent tables and a curated selection of work.

It will return every three months, with each market open to a fresh mix of artists and makers.

πŸ“Έ Where old Cambodia meets the new. From 13 to 15 November, Pomelo Bar hosts Rising Community, the first-ever photography exhibition by emerging British-Khmer photographer Oscar Riley.

Cambodia is changing fast. History is slowly fading, yet there are still people living the old ways. In Oscar's work, the poor meet the rich and the rich meet the poor, and the past sits right beside the present. Across four collections, his photographs ask a simple question: how can we, as a community, help smaller communities grow bigger than ever before?

Come and take your time with Oscar's work. Original pieces will be available to buy, it's open to all, so bring family, friends, or anyone curious.

Presented with the support of Canon and Mekong Link, in partnership with the Phnom Penh Photography Collective.

Pour nos amis francophones, en ville pour le Sommet : une exposition de Oscar Riley, jeune photographe khmer, sur un Cambodge entre tradition et modernité, et sur le pouvoir des communautés qui s'élèvent ensemble. Entrée libre, du 13 au 15 novembre, au Pomelo Bar.
