Depuis le 15 juillet 2024, les touristes et voyageurs d’affaires de 93 pays peuvent séjourner jusqu’à 60 jours sans visa en Thaïlande. Cette période peut être prolongée de 30 jours supplémentaires sur place.

En mai dernier, lors de l’annonce de cette extension de la politique d’exemption de visa, les autorités thaïlandaises ont également dévoilé leur intention de mettre en place un système d’autorisation de voyage électronique pour les visiteurs éligibles à cette dispense de visa.

À l’instar des États-Unis (ESTA), du Canada (AVE), de la Corée du Sud (K-ETA), qui disposent déjà d’un système similaire, ou encore d’Israël et du Royaume-Uni, qui lanceront officiellement leur ETA en 2025, la Thaïlande imposera donc prochainement une autorisation de voyage électronique (ETA) aux voyageurs entrant dans le pays sous le régime d’exemption de visa.

For people who know me and might have heard, yes i confirm that i did have a motorbike accident, but be reassured: my motorbike is fine! nothing was broken other than deep cuts and bruises galore: looks like new again 😉
Just so you know, should you have to take someone to calmette hospital, i intend to suggest to its CEO to rename it Can Wait hospital.
Took near 7 hours waiting at emergency ward before was taken to xray then another 4 hours before got to operating block.
Apparently there were only 2 doctors on duty at the emergency and they had to take care of what i thought were near or over 100 patients with some of them waiting outside the main room, in the corridors.
Having said that, the staff were good professionals and the traumatology surgeons knew their job, except maybe the anesthetist who hurt me like hell!!!
A (nice) private room in the new building costs 236$ a night while the (1 page) medical report is charged $40 and surgery for 6 stitches $430.
