Pchum Ben Lin's closing dates. Lin's will be closed for Pchum Ben from Friday 27 September 2024 to Tuesday 1 October 2024 both dates incclusive. Lin and her tribe are off to Prey Veng to visit her Grandmother.

I just read this on Cambodia Expats online.. There are a few replies but nothing quoting an offiial source. Has anyone heard anything official on this subject beause if true it is very good news.

60-day visa exemptions are now unlimited at land borders
The new 60 day entry stamp program that started 3 days ago is not limited to two entries by land in a calendar year, it is unlimited entry by land.
Just had somebody that did two free stamp land entries this year bounce out and back and get a new 60-day entry with no questions at al. The officer said unlimited.
Here are the two 30 day land entry stamps and the new 60 day stamp they just got this morning.. as you can see they even had a 3-day overstay this morning when they left.

if one doesn't abuse it by trying to live in Thailand without a visa, this is great for expats in Cambodia and Laos

Tod Daniels, ASEAN NOW‘s visa expert reported that the tourist did two free stamp land entries this year, left Thailand then entered the country again, and got a new 60-day entry with no issues.
