Waxworks is now every Sunday from 6pm at The Mellow Gecko.
Your new go-to Sunday session, built around real music, real people, and real art.
Waxworks is a 100% vinyl night. No laptops. No shortcuts. Just hands on wax, crates of records, and the kind of music that slows the night down in the best way.
On the decks is DJ Rob aka Mute Speaker, digging deep into soul, funk, hip-hop, reggae, afro, latin, Asian and more. Music you can move to, talk over, sit with, and stay awhile for.
Vinyl is a dying art form.
We’re choosing to give it a home.
Sundays at the Gecko are about supporting local artists, celebrating craft, and creating a relaxed session where the music sets the pace. As far as we know, this is the only 100% vinyl night in Kampot, and we’re proud to be backing it.
At The Mellow Gecko, supporting local artists and building local culture is what we’re about. Waxworks is part of that. A reason to come together, unwind, and end the week properly.
