The original Classical Revolution was founded more than 10 years ago in San Francisco, California, by violist Charith Premawardhana. As a chamber ensemble, their idea was “to enrich the San Francisco Bay Area with accessible chamber music and to create a support network for local musicians” – two objectives that we share here in Tokyo. The concept grew rapidly out of California, and chapters emerg
ed all across the United States, and even in Europe. Kurarebo is the first one to start in Japan, and one of the firsts in Asia. Classical Revolution Japan (クラレボ) was founded by Clément Variéras, a French composer, former assistant administrator at Classical Revolution France before he moved to Japan in 2016.
クラシカル・レボリューションの原点は、2006年にカリフォルニア州サンフランシスコのヴィオラ奏者のCharith Premawardhanaによって生まれました。室内アンサンブルとして、馴染みやすい室内楽の音楽でサンフランシスコのベイエリアを満たし、それと共に、地元のミュージシャンのためのサポートネットワークを作りたいというアイディアがありました。
このコンセプトはカリフォルニアから急速に成長し、米国全土、さらにはヨーロッパでも出現しました。
クラシカル・レボリューション・ジャパン（クラレボ）はこのコンセプトを元に日本で歩み始めました。
