日本各地の小さなワイナリーを巡って選りすぐりのワインを集めました。

2日(木)、9日(木)、16日(木) 、23日(木)、30日(木)。 日光に移住して7年、日光に感謝を込めて大好きな日本ワインのお店をオープンすることにしました。
日本ワインの美味しさを多くの人に知ってもらえたらとの思いからは2000年以降に出来た小さなワイナリー。年間生産本数も2万本以下のワイナリーからセレクトしました。
マリアージュとか重い軽い、渋い渋くないなんて難しく考えることなく美味しくワインを頂いちゃおうというのがバーのコンセプト。
何よりもワインが出来る風景や造っている人の思いをお伝え

出来たらと思っています。
また、カウンターの上には鉄道模型のジオラマ、ワインを飲みながら走る模型列車を眺めるのは時間を忘れてしまいそう。旅情気分も楽しめます。

Today's featured wine is!!
Continuing from yesterday, from Bees Needs Vineyards in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The wine is Purple Peaks 2021.
A blend of Syrah and Viognier!!
Syrah is quite rare in Japan, so please enjoy this Syrah crafted from the granitic soils at the foot of Mount Tsukuba.
Viognier is blended to bring out the characteristic Shiraz colour. This results in a slightly lighter, more appealing flavour profile. The tannins are soft, creating a delicious wine.
Do try this 2021 vintage today. Like the Overdrive 2019 featured in our previous post, it is at its peak drinking stage now.

昨日に引き続き茨城県つくば市にある「ビーズニーズヴィンヤーズ」
ワインはPurple Peaks 2021。
#シラー と #ヴィオニエ のブレンドワイン!!
日本ではなかなかシラーは見かけないと思いますので筑波山の麓で作られたシラーをぜひ楽しんでください。
筑波山の地質は花崗岩土壌。
またシラーらしい色を出すためにブレンドにヴィオニエがブレンドされています。そのため少し軽めでチャーミングな味わい。タンニンも穏やかで美味しいワインに仕上がっています。
今日はぜひ2021年のヴィンテージワインを楽しんでみてください。こちらも昨日の と同じく飲み頃です。

Overdrive 2019 from Bees Needs Vineyards in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
A red wine blended from five varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Tannat, and Petit Woerth.
Aromas of small plums, dark cherries, pomegranate, and white pepper!!
It is a red wine with soft tannins that is easy to drink.
Many people think that newer vintages are more delicious, but vintages aged for 4-5 years develop the most flavour and become mellow and delicious.
That's right! Overdrive 2019 is a wine that is ready to drink now.

茨城県つくば市にある「ビーズニーズヴィンヤーズ」のOverdrive2019。
カベルネ・ソーヴィニョン、メルロー、シラー、タナ、プティ・ヴェルトの5種類をブレンドした赤ワイン。
香りは小梅、ダークチェリー、ザクロ、ホワイトペッパー!!
タンニンは柔らかで飲みやすい赤ワインです。
ヴィンテージが新しいのが美味しいと思われている方が多いと思いますが4〜5年のヴィンテージが最も味がのってまろやかになって美味しいですよ。
そう!!「Overdrive2019」は今が飲み頃のワインです。

Today's top pick is delicious juice made by the winery!!

The names are ‘Squeezed!! White Grape Juice’ and ‘Squeezed!! Black Grape Juice’ – two varieties.
The white is a blend of Chardonnay and Sémillon.
The black (red) is a blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Naturally, we serve them in wine glasses, so you can enjoy them even if you don't drink wine.
They are produced by Bees Needs Vineyards, located in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

その名も「ギュギュッ!!と絞った白ぶどうジュース」と「ギュギュッ!!と絞った黒ぶどうジュース」の2種類。
白はシャルドネとセミヨンのブレンドジュース。
黒(赤)はメルロー、シラー、カベルネ·ソーヴィニョンのブレンドジュース。
もちろんワイングラスでお出ししますのでワインが飲めなくても楽しめます。
造り手は茨城県つくば市にある「ビーズニーズヴィンヤーズ」です。

Nagano Electric Railway's steam locomotive. Though a short four-car formation, it was originally an Odakyu Romancecar.
We avoid running the same carriages consecutively, but daily formations remain challenging.
Please refrain from enquiring which carriages will be in service before your visit.

Tomorrow's operating carriages are yet to be determined, but everyone!! Do look forward to it.

Today's featured wine is the 2024 Pinot Blanc from Bonjour Farm in Tōmi City, Nagano Prefecture.
Though it was cold in Nikko until yesterday, today brings a crisp, clear autumn day!!
This white wine is perfect for such a day.
You'll likely detect a flinty, mineral aroma in the bouquet, so do enjoy it.

When visiting Nikko, or before or after a meal, do enjoy Japanese wine.
Or perhaps while waiting for your return train?
Ah, upon opening the door and stepping inside, you'll see a model railway diorama, but this is not a model shop.
It is most certainly a wine bar, so please do come in.

As it's rather chilly in Nikko today, let's warm ourselves with a red wine!!
It's a shame that wines named after rugby terms like “Tackle” and “Scrum” are no longer available from this winery.
Back when those wines were sold, the Japan national rugby team was still struggling.
I wonder if I'm the only one hoping they'll make them again once the team gets stronger?

そんなワインが販売されていた頃はまだまだラグビー日本代表が低迷していた時代。
強くなってもまた造って欲しいなぁ〜と思うのは僕だけかな?

This winery is located about a 40-minute drive from Wine Bar BLESS.
It's the closest winery to the bar!!
Yama Sauvignon is a variety born from crossing mountain grape with Cabernet Sauvignon.
When people hear “mountain grape”, they often think it's sour!!
Many say that, but you can enjoy this wine with confidence.
Please do try the Yama Sauvignon.

Incidentally, Hinoe is the name of the region where the winery is located.

Mountain grape wine. If you find it hard to drink, try adding ice to chill it thoroughly or mixing it with sparkling water.

そう仰る方が多いのですが、このワインは安心して楽しめます。
