東京でのLIMINAL DREAMSのお知らせです。今回はノルウェー・オスロの地から世界へ向けて、情緒溢れるテクノ〜IDM〜エクスペリメンタル作品を発信し続けるUte.Rec主宰のMarius Bøがリスニングセットで登壇予定。また現在は英国を拠点としてテクノ、実験的作品を発表する台湾人電子音楽作家Jin Synthが、一周年イベントぶりにLIMINAL DREAMSへ帰ってきます。東京のシーンからは新機軸のテクノパーティ”KINSUN”に加えて、落合Soupでは”Wave Motion”をローンチさせ、ダンスとリスニングの境界線を探り続ける信頼のバイナルコレクターolevvが待望となる登壇。サウンドエンジニアRyosuke Tsuchiyaが監修する没入型のリスニングセッションで、世界各国の信頼あるベニューで活躍を続ける注目アーティストたちによる選曲をお楽しみください。 We are pleased to announce next LIMINAL DREAMS in Tokyo. This time, Marius Bø, the leader of Ute.Rec, who has been releasing sophisticated nostalgic techno, IDM, and experimental works to the world from Oslo, Norway, will take the stage for a listening set. Also, Taiwanese electronic musician Jin Synth, currently based in the UK, will return to LIMINAL DREAMS for the first time since the first anniversary event. From the Tokyo local scene, The long-awaited appearance of olevv, the trusted vinyl collector who has launched “Wave Motion” at Ochiai Soup in addition to the innovative techno party “KINSUN,” and continues to explore the boundaries between dance and listening, will take the stage. Enjoy an immersive listening session supervised by sound engineer Ryosuke Tsuchiya, with selections from the world’s remarkable artists from trusted venues around the globe.

次回の東京でのLIMINAL DREAMSのお知らせです。今回は、モダンテクノの新星として各国のシーンを独自のカラーで染め上げているGiGi FM、日本のサイケデリックテクノの象徴的なアーティストの1人であるHarukaを招いて、ベトナムから一時帰国する創設者の1人であるTossがTonerと共に一晩を演出する予定です。高度なダンスのバックグラウンドを持つGiGi FMは、グルーヴの根幹を常に掴み続けるアップテンポなテクノミュージックに定評がありますが、彼女の1stアルバムは、クラブでの再生で真価を発揮するアンビエント作品の傑作の1つであり、私たちは彼女にアンビエントのDJセットをオファーできることをとても光栄に思います。彼女が最新の〈Resident Advisor〉でのインタビューで答えていた内容「曲作りでは、色彩や動き、感情、ある空想の人物をイメージして制作を行い、DJセットでは、物語のあらすじをイメージする」という言葉は、いかに彼女の楽曲が多くの人を惹きつけているのかを説明するものであり、人の魂の宿る楽曲たちがナラティヴに繰り広げられることを心待ちにしています。また二回目の登壇となるHarukaは、東京でのクラブの超人的なロングセットから、数々の野外レイヴで爆発的な瞬間を創造することでダンスフロアからの信頼を勝ち得てきたDJで、今回は彼が集めるリスニングコレクションを堪能できる数少ない貴重な機会となりました。

今回はさまざまな意味で特別で、円をちょうど一周するような巡り合わせとなりました。Ryosuke Tsuchiyaが創造する信頼の音の粒子に囲まれて、美しい音楽と共に一晩を祝福しましょう。

We are pleased to announce our next LIMINAL DREAMS in Tokyo. We will be inviting GiGi FM, a rising star of modern techno who has been coloring the scene in various countries with his unique colors, and Haruka, one of the iconic artists of Japanese psychedelic techno, and Toss, one of the founders who is temporarily returning from Vietnam, will be joining the night with Tokyo-resident Toner. With a background in advanced dance, GiGi FM is known for her uptempo techno music that always manages to grab the root of the groove, but her first album is one of the masterpieces of ambient work that really shows its true value when played in a club setting, and we are very pleased to have her as our ambient DJ We are honored to offer her an ambient DJ set. In her latest interview with Resident Advisor, she said, “When I write a song, I imagine color, movement, emotion, and an imaginary character, and in a DJ set, I imagine the synopsis of a story. This explains how her music attracts so many people, and we are looking forward to seeing the songs with human souls unfold in a narrative.

This time it is special in many ways and we invite you to celebrate the evening with beautiful music, surrounded by the particles of trustworthy sound created by Ryosuke Tsuchiya.

次回の東京での”LIMINAL DREAMS”は、6月29日(土)に私たちのホームであるTrafficを舞台に、ボーダレスなリスニング・ミュージックをテーマにして開催します。今回は、ブラジル出身の稀有なアーティストnuma gamaと、ベトナムの名箱〈The Observatory〉でレジデントを務めるShhhhhを迎えて、信頼あるローカル・アーティストが集うことになりました。

ベトナムでの”LIMINAL DREAMS”に登壇しているShhhhhは、私たちに大きな影響を与えてきた真のディガー/DJの1人で、今回東京の”LIMINAL DREAMS”に迎えられることを光栄に思います。彼の友人であるnuma gamaは、元Voodoohop collectiveのメンバーとして知られ、これまでクラブミュージックとリスニングミュージックのジャンルを超越した多数の作品をリリースしてきたアーティストで、今回はリスニングのDJセットを披露してもらいます。

ローカルシーンからも、東京のアンダーグラウンドシーンで異彩を放つ、アンビエント音楽に造詣の深いDJたちが集います。実験的な音楽とライブセッションに焦点を当てたイベント”eulb”を主宰するimus、呪術的なダンスミュージックを起点として幅広いオーディエンスから支持を集めるnø¡R、急進的で先鋭なキュレーションで支持を集めるisihinokoのオーガナイザーを務めるDJ Lawson。間違いなく、音響的な“第四世界”へと導いてくれることでしょう。今回も、いつものように入念に準備したチルアウトフロアでお待ちしております。

The upcoming “LIMINAL DREAMS” in Tokyo will be held on Saturday, June 29 at our home venue, Traffic, focusing on an expansive and immersive listening music. We are pleased to welcome numa gama, an ethereal artist hailing from Brazil, and resident DJ Shhhhh from the renowned club The Observatory in Vietnam, along with trusted local artists.

Shhhhh, who has performed at LIMINAL DREAMS in Vietnam, is a true digger and DJ who has been profoundly influencing us. We are honored to finally have him for this edition in Tokyo. Joining him is his good friend numa gama, formerly of the Voodoohop collective, an artist known for their genre-transcending works. For this edition, they will perform a special listening DJ set.

We are also excited to feature key local figures from Tokyo’s underground scene showcasing their deep and unique knowledge of ambient music. imus, who runs the experimental music and live sessions “eulb,” nø¡R, known for her spellbinding dance music which has been captivating a wide audience in Japan, and DJ Lawson, the visionary behind the avant-grade curatorial event isihinoko. All will surely guide you through a sonic journey into the “fourth world”. As always, we all look forward to welcoming you to our thoughtfully prepared chill-out floor.
