Khantyを愛してくださった皆様に、お知らせがあります。
この度、Khantyを閉店する事になりました。
急な状況の変化により止むを得ずこの様な結論に至りました。
お店の鍵をもらって、3年と少し。
たくさんの方々と出会い、楽しい時間を共有させていただきました。本当にありがとうございました。
以下、シェフのジョノからのメッセージです。
Khanty のゲストの皆様、友達、家族へ
Khantyの扉を閉めるのは、本当に残念です。
急遽身体の精密検査を受けなくてはならず、カナダに戻りましたが、今後は家族と共にここで療養して行く事に致しました。
サポートして下さった方々やゲストの皆様のおかげで、この数年間、日々成長することができました。ありがとうございます。
また、シェフとして、素晴らしい食材やお肉を提供して下さった業者の皆様に感謝しています。この最高の材料なしでは、今ある私らしい料理は出来なかったはずです。
たった3年間でしたが、私の人生を豊かにする、今まででも経験した事のないような夢のような日々でした。これも全て皆様のおかげです。
京都での経験は、この先の私の力になり、もちろんいい思い出として心に残ります。たくさんのゲストや友人達と、お話ししたり一緒にグラスを傾けたり、皆様と深く知り合うことができ本当に嬉しく思います。

To all of or guests, friends and family of Khanty,
It is with the greatest sadness that we are closing the doors to Khanty
Due to a medical emergency, I went back to Canada to deal with the situation and decided to stay in Canada to be with family.
We would like to thank all of our supporters and guests over the years as we grew. I would personally like to thank all of my suppliers of amazing produce and meats over the years as my cooking would not be the same without you.
I was able to live out my dream, if only for 3 years , was still one of the most life changing experience I have ever had and you are all to thank.
My experience in Kyoto will obviously never be forgotten and I am so grateful to meet and serve so many guests and friends, Shared stories, shared drinks and got to know you on a personal level.
