都市において、銀杏は公園の木であると同時に、匂いのする境界でもある。
アスファルトと自然の、コンクリートと腐敗の、美と不快のあいだに立つあの街路樹は、どこかでテクノに通じているのではないか。
そんな思いつきから名付けられた「銀杏テクノ」は、TAOのターンテーブルお披露目となる特別な夜。
東京からItouを招き、オール・ヴァイナルで届けられるテクノは、冷たく硬質でありながら、どこか匂い立つような生々しさを伴っている。まさに、銀杏のように。
通常TAOではあまり扱わないジャンルであるがゆえに、音楽と空間が新たな関係を結び直す夜になるだろう。
この夏の一夜、うだる熱気のなかに差し込む鋭い音の粒たちが、身体を通って風景を変える。

In the city, ginkgo trees are not only fixtures of parks — they are fragrant boundaries.
Standing between asphalt and nature, concrete and decay, beauty and discomfort, these street trees resonate, in some way, with techno.
Born from that notion, Ginnan Techno marks a special night — the very first time the turntables at TAO will come to life.
Welcoming Itou from Tokyo, this all-vinyl techno set will be cold and angular, yet strangely visceral — as if the sound itself carries a scent. Like ginkgo.
As techno is not a genre typically heard at TAO, this event promises to redefine the relationship between music and space.
On a sultry summer night, piercing sonic particles will cut through the heat, pass through the body, and transform the landscape.
