スコットランド・アイラ島のシングルモルト蒸留所「アードナッホー蒸留所」が手掛ける3商品が、英国の酒類専門誌『The Spirits Business』が主催する国際的なスコッチウイスキーコンペティション「The Scotch Whisky Masters 2026」において、すべてが金賞（Gold Medal）を受賞。「The Scotch Whisky Masters」は、英国の酒類専門誌『The Spirits Business』が毎年開催する、スコッチウイスキーのみを対象とした世界的なコンペティションです。ブラインドテイスティングによる厳正な審査が行われ、品質や個性に優れたウイスキーが表彰されます。アードナッホー蒸留所は、スコットランド・アイラ島で約20年ぶりに誕生した9番目の蒸留所です。ハンター・レイン社が長年培ってきたウイスキーづくりの知見を結集し、伝統的な製法を守りながら、アイラらしい力強いピートスモークと繊細な果実味が調和したシングルモルトを生み出しています。近年は世界各国で注目を集めており、日本市場でもその品質の高さと個性的な味わいから、多くのウイスキーファンに支持されています。受賞作品の中からアードナッホー インフィニットロッホが到着。
Three expressions produced by the Islay single malt distillery Ardnahoe Distillery in Scotland have all been awarded Gold Medals at The Scotch Whisky Masters 2026, an international Scotch whisky competition hosted by the prominent British drinks trade magazine The Spirits Business.The Scotch Whisky Masters is an annual global competition dedicated exclusively to Scotch whisky, organized by The Spirits Business. Judged through rigorous blind tastings, the competition honors whiskies of exceptional quality and character.
Ardnahoe is the 9th distillery to be established on Scotland's Isle of Islay in approximately 20 years. Bringing together the extensive whisky-making expertise accumulated by Hunter Laing over the years, the distillery preserves traditional methods while crafting single malts that harmonize Islay's characteristically powerful peatsmoke with delicate fruit notes. In recent years, it has been gaining worldwide attention, earning strong support from whisky fans in the Japanese market as well for its high quality and unique flavor profile.
