Let's make the origin of sushi, Oshizushi!
During the Edo period, sushi was eaten as fastfood for those busy, highpased Edonians who were waiting for their orders at soba and tempura restaurants.
Sushi had been eaten for a very long time, all over Japan in various styles like Barazushi and Oshizushi. 〔What〕Making Oshizushi using various types of ingredients like shrimp, salmon, eel, pickled vegetables, avocado. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome. Please let us know when you're making reservation. 〔Class meal〕We will eat all of the sushis the class made as a group along with miso soup, seasonal vegetable dish and inarisushi. 〔Price〕¥8000(tax included). Includes beverage, meal, rental aperon (option to purchase). 寿司の源流、押し寿司を作ろう!
握り寿司は江戸時代、天ぷら屋、蕎麦屋で料理ができるのを待つ間、せっかちな江戸っ子が食べるファーストフードでした。寿司はそのずっと前から、日本各地でバラ寿司や押し寿司など様々なスタイルで食べられてきました。

We now have a Sushi making class at Kujo Tokyo!! Every Mondays and Tuesdays at AM11:30 to PM1:30. About 1 hour and a half of lesson and then sushi lunch. Vegan options available upon request!! ¥8000.
