Tursi Digital Nomads L'idea è figlia del nuovo contesto lavorativo delineatosi a causa della pandemia di Covid19.

Tursi Digital Nomads is an organisation for the revaluation and regeneration of small villages in Southern Italy and Greece, through remote working and digital nomadism. E' tema centrale nelle aziende la strategia di riorganizzazione del lavoro nell'era post pandemia. Molte big stanno delineando dei piani di lavoro che prevedono una riduzione drastica della presenza in ufficio, a vantaggio dello smart working, soprattutto per quelle categorie di lavoratori “digital” per i quali l'Internet è il "luogo" dove il lavoro effettivamente si svolge. E' cosi che nascono i Digital Nomads

E' invece tema centrale e sempre attuale quello di cercare una rivalutazione dei piccoli borghi italiani, flagellati da un progressivo e sempre più repentino spopolamento e migrazione verso le grandi città.

The main sandy beach in Parga, overlooking the castle and the olive trees.
There are plenty of beach bars and restaurants with WiFi.

Piso Krioneri 🌿
The hidden one, just a couple of minutes behind Krioneri beach.
Small bay, perfect for a dive during lunch break.

Tursi from the inside - Episode 5

What do the people who actually live in Tursi think about our community?

For this episode, we sat down with 3 local ladies who have spent their lives in the historic centre, just a few steps from our coworking space. Every day they see remote workers from all over the world walking through their streets and becoming part of the village for several weeks.

Their message was simple but meaningful: they genuinely appreciate what is happening in Tursi and believe this project is bringing something positive to the village.

For us this is what success looks like.

It’s not just about attracting digital nomads, it’s about creating connections and earning the trust of the local community, and making sure that the people who already call this place home feel included in the change.

Because revitalizing a village only works when it’s built with the community, not just for the community 💡

The first week together with our group of digital nomads in Tursi was full of fun, dinners in beautiful scenery, shared moments, coworking days and daily trips in the most beautiful beaches around the region 🏖️

Behind every productive digital nomad is Silvia , the owner of Caffe Plaza, who fuels them with coffee in the morning (and Aperol Spritz after 12pm) 😜

The local businesses in Tursi are playing a huge part in our community. They are the type of people that will learn your name the first day and will never forget it. Or they will join you for drinks after work. 🍻

When we travel we rarely think what’s happening after we leave a place, or the locals who stay behind. But this is why Tursi is different!

Here everyone will ask if you are coming back- not out of curiosity. Because for them you are part of the big extended Italian family, where the locals actually care about you.

If you want to experience Italy like the locals do, you can still join us this summer (21 June - 12 July).

We’re doing it AGAIN! 🎉🎉
Officially going back to PARGA in October 🇬🇷

After another successful community, filled with beach days, amazing people who clicked immediately, tons of good food and a lot of wine we decided to renew our appointment and bring even more people to this beautiful place that is slowly turning into our second home 🏡
