..."Whoever plants tamarinds does not harvest tamarinds"...
It has nothing to do with the story I'm about to tell you, but I liked to say it 🤪
Siriously, there was a time, when Queen Victoria reigned over England and its colonies, where the British who lived in Goa, in India, held a tamarind pod in their ears when they went to the native quarters to keep them away. In fact they thought that the pods were inhabited by demons. Since then the colonists were called "tamarind heads".
ブランド - Burando that means "The Brand", taking inspiration from the use of tamarindis that British made, is a mocktail that embraces all possible notes, from sour to sweet, passing through spiced and ending with salty. An ideal mocktail for the meal, especially of Japanese cuisine.
