There is a new space in Milan dedicated to a generation of contemporary makers. A temporary showroom hosted by Art Malll, where every thursday young designers, artists and musicians will create an appointment each time different.
Art Mall will host us for this aperitivo, marked by great food, cocktails, music and pantings...

Domani sera, per l'evento 14.11 - 7 PM | Hype Generation at Art Mall verranno esposte le opere di Justin Xia

Justin Xia, classe 1990, è un artista che opera a Milano. Nato a Zhejiang in Cina, ma cresciuto a Venezia, sin da piccolo mostra un particolare interesse ed un certo talento per il disegno.
Dal 2016, dopo aver frequentato studi umanistici all'università, si dedica alla pittura sperimentando diverse tecniche e materiali, approfondendo così la sua ricerca nel campo dell'arte figurativa contemporanea.

"LA GIOSTRA DEL CIGNO"

Quello che mi son sempre chiesto è: Che senso ha la vita se non quella di soddisfare i propri piaceri e desideri?
Suggestionato dalle canzoni degli anni ottanta di Marcella Bella, Sabrina Salerno, Amanda Lear, Ilona Staller, ecc. dove il piacere sessuale è cantato con dissolutezza, provocazione, dolcezza e leggerezza, nasce questo mio ultimo periodo artistico.

Il viso dei soggetti è ispirato alle illustrazioni di Guan Yin Buddha, figura religiosa continuamente presente nella mia infanzia, e che fino all’adolescenza credevo fosse una figura femminile, ma che poi si rivelò una divinità maschile.

Impressionato dalle metamorfosi di Zeus, ho deciso di eleggere il cigno, l’uccello nobile e regale per eccellenza, come simbolo della tentazione, del camuffamento e del sesso maschile. L’oriente incontra l’occidente in questa giostra di motivi iconografici delle due culture.

Tomorrow Jasmine Guy will exhibit at 24.10 - 7 PM | Hype Generation at Art Mall

Jasmine Guo is a rising visual and contemporary artist from Sweden. She’s an all-around artist who enjoys mixing classical painting techniques with digital media. Her artworks are usually presented in a light and eye-pleasing manner but with a deeper and darker meaning.
Jasmine Guo’s artwork reflects the thoughts and dissatisfaction she has towards different society views and aspects.

"Pretend satisfaction" is a series of acrylic artwork showing women’s pretend orgasm/satisfaction. Not only is the series about the facade of women’s satisfaction, it is also a way for the artist to express her frustration in human relations; not feeling confident to verbally or physically express herself in fear of offending or upsetting others.
