La Corsa Wine La Corsa Estate is owned by Marco Bassetti, a Television Entrepreneur. The winery started producing wine in 2005.

The wineyard has18 hectars, located in Orbetello on a gentle slope facing the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Southern Maremma in the Grosseto province. La Corsa cultivates its grapes such as Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Teroldego and Vermentino in an area where archaeological evidence demonstrates that production of wine went on more than two thousand years ago. Exposed slopes and calcium-rich rocky give to t

he wines an elegant and unique personality. Quest'azienda di 18 ettari nasce nella zona di Capalbio, nel 1990, dopo un attento studio del territorio da parte di Marco Bassetti, affermato imprenditore televisivo e grande appassionato di enogastronomia. Fondamentale il ruolo degli enologi Vittorio Fiore e Barbara Tamburini che sono riusciti a sfruttare con maestria le caratteristiche del terreno rossastro, argillo sabbioso, tipico della Maremma, così da ottenere vini di grande struttura ed eleganza, ideali per l'invecchiamento a lungo termine.

We had an awesome wine tasting with La Corsa Wine at Restaurant Le Vieux Four de Laval. We shared the tasting with Martin Baron, the Dining Room manager and eventually, we were lucky enough to have Michele Manago, the Executive Chef, join the tasting. This place is one of the hottest spot in Laval, QC that represent the Epicurean experience on Italian food and wine. The 100% Petit Verdot was so crispy, and the Supertuscan Mandrione amazing. Thank you so much to Aline Migneault (Amphora Vins Fins et Spiritueux).

We had a friendly tasting of La Corsa Wine at Restaurant Bravi in Longueuil, Quebec with Monique Legault (Amphora Vins Fins et Spiritueux) and Cynthia Robichaud, Dining Room manager. She very much appreciates dark-inky aromas of 100% Petit Verdot and refine elegance of .

Thank you Toshiaki Kato for sharing this great dinner at Carnesio east - カルネジーオイースト where we’ve tasted intriguing wines from Tuscany by La Corsa Wine and from Piedmont by Camparo. The food was amazing and the group of friends so lovely! Happy to share with Yuka Nishimoto, Debora Bonora, 北爪正明, and the master sommelier Yoshiumi Shirao, who makes the best sequence of these wines perfectly matched with the food eaten.

Sirena 本格イタリアンの店 is a nice Italian Restaurant in Kokubunji (国分寺市 Kokubunji-shi), a city located in the western portion of Tokyo Metropolis. We were lucky enough to find a seat at the busy lunch time and receive a warm welcome by the owner and chef Samil Toutoungi
He has prepared, among other things, some amazing spaghetti “al dente” dressed with delicious little shrimps. Here is possible to find a very good selection of wines from Italy and also from La Corsa Wine located in Tuscany Maremma. Great Italian meal recommended for The Italians gourmet. Thanks to Sassolino KK for his great job!
SAMIL, I hope to see you soon next time at dinner.

いつも仕事してなさそうと思われているかもしれないので、トスカーナのワインメーカーLa Corsa export manager Andreaさんにテイスティング中の姿を写真に収めていただきました。
さすがプロフェッショナル！こんな素敵に撮ってもらえるとは感激ですな。
今回トスカーナのマレッマ(maremma)地区のLa Corsaさんの�Vermetino100%"Due Luglio"と�Sangiovese,Teroldego,Petit Verdot"Aghiloro"を改めて試飲しました。
Due Luglio:心地のよい夏のトスカーナの海風を感じさせるミネラル感。キリキリっとしてるんですがVermentinoの豊富な果実の旨味もあります。白身魚の浅い昆布締めが食べたくなります。それ以外でもほぼ万能と言えるようなバランスもあり、これからの夏にぴったりのワインかなあと。
Aghiloro:同じくマレッマなんですが、テロルデゴのおだやかなスパイスのかおりとプチヴェルドの凝縮したタンニンがこのワインの複雑性を示してくれているような気がするけれど、最大のセパージュを占めるサンジョベーゼの酸が綺麗にまとめあげてくれています。トスカーナに住んでたお客さんが「これこれなつかしい」とおっしゃってたので、土や風の香りを思い出すのかもしれません。
