Il REX era un transatlantico italiano, il più bello di sempre, il più elegante. Il REX cafè prende ispirazione da quel capolavoro ed infatti nel locale lo ricordano il legno solido del bancone fatto a forma di nave per l'appunto, gli specchi rubati ad un salone della nave, le lampade a muro fatte a mo di vele, l'enorme mappamondo in rame. Il REX CAFÉ è una presenza storica della notte di Firenze,

(è nato nel 1990) ma è un locale che non invecchia, bensì cresce e si trasforma. Il REX è quel posto dove Firenze si incontra, prende l'aperitivo, viene dopocena, decide cosa fare dopo o rimane lì tutta la sera. Al REX si beve, si parla, si balla, ci si bacia e ci si innamora. Child Of (Todd Weinstock), a producer now splitting his time between NYC and Florence, Italy, blends house and techno with rich sonic textures drawn from a diverse range of genres. A seasoned musician, Todd has been creating and touring since his teens, most notably as a guitarist in the post-hardcore band Glassjaw among others. After over a decade as a DJ in NYC, his latest project, Child Of, creates melodic, progressive house and techno with an ethereal and funky twist. His sets all the while, traverse across a surprisingly eclectic spectrum of dance music. Some noteworthy venues in NYC he’s played at include Output, House of Yes, Elsewhere, Musica, and Good Room and he is also a co-founder of the iconic Pixelated warehouse parties.”

Co-Fondatore nel 2013 del collettivo Intro-Spettiva inizia la sua carriera come speaker radiofonico e come selector con lo Pseudonimo “ A Tiger in Africa “, un progetto dedicato a sonorità afro e black in generale.
Recentemente ha intrapreso un percorso musicale dedicato a sonorità più scure tra cui Italo-Disco, Elettronica ed Electro-Funk anni 80’ con il nuovo progetto “Felice Parziale”
La sua ricerca si concentra nel creare set dalle sonorità ti tipo “Lento/Violento” anche se l’esplorazione, in senso più ampio, continua ad essere la sua unica prerogativa.
