Charlotte Bar is a new bar in the village of Monticello Amiata. Offering Cafe, Gelato, Wine and Pastries in a cosy chick atmosphere. Ok! I have seen it all. So no.

Here is the story of the Cafe. It is located in the village of Monticello Amiata. In the Provence of Grosseto, in the region of Tuscany. The town is very small and many of the people that live in the area are foreigners. The cafe was successful and everyone liked it very much. It was busy during both the tourist season and off season. But over 2 years ago the owner became very ill and had to close

down. The fact that it was successful and is missed was the selling point for me. I would never have considered it if this hadn't been the case. In a nut shell, I have found a business opportunity in Italy that will allow me to fulfil two dreams. First, the dream of moving back to Europe This has been my desire since I left 15 years ago. I love Europe and my best memories are all there. When I was back last summer I knew that I had to stop wasting time and make it happen. But the barriers were all the same. What was I going to do to earn a living and how would I get citizenship? The answer came with the opportunity of fulfilling my second dream. And that is to start my own business. As a business owner I can get citizenship, make a living, and above all, build something of my own. Did I ever see myself running a cafe? Let me tell you, I have been working on and off in the restaurant/bar/cafe industry for nearly 15 years. I definitely did not see myself opening a restaurant. But I did always say, if I did open a restaurant it would be small and have a small menu of really good quality items. I know this industry. I know how hard I will have to work. But it will be my labour of love and that is what I want.
