Discover the vintage 2025 🥳🍷🙌

Our Platt & Riegl Pinot Bianco shines in its latest vintage – a fresh and elegant white wine from the elevated vineyards of Oltradige. (450 -550m)

Grown on a unique mix of volcanic porphyry and calcareous clay soils, it combines finesse, character, and purity. Carefully hand-harvested, partly aged in stainless steel and large oak barrels and matured for seven months on the fine lees.

Delicate yet full-bodied – perfect with appetizers, fine fish dishes, or as an elegant aperitif.

• Situated not far from Bolzano, amidst gently rolling slopes, on the Monte di Mezzo, at an altitude of 450 to 550 meters above sea-level, lie the majority of our vineyards in . Towards the north, the Alps protect our vineyards from the cold winds.

The soil is gravelly, argillaceous and low in nutrients. Heavy temperature fluctuations between day and night – especially in the autumn – give our wines a fine, distinct bouquet, and enhance their aging potential. 🌱🍷☀️

Our aged vintages of Vernatsch Gschleier and Fass 9 reflect time, patience, and character. Every sip carries a sense of history – smooth, layered and elegant.

“Girlan-Gschleier” is one of Alto Adige’s 86 UGA (additional geographical units), located on the site of a former Roman settlement.
Since 1975, we have produced a distinctive and ageworthy Vernatsch “Gschleier Alte Reben”.

The particularity of this site is the age of the vines, up to 110 years! The vineyard lies at 450 meters above sea level on soils rich in limestone, gravel, and clay, benefiting from a warm microclimate and Southern exposure. 🙌☀
