An evening celebrating natural wine, great food and the people behind the bottles.

We are excited to welcome the winemakers from AMI for a special one-night-only dinner at SKÁL. Expect a relaxed and intimate evening where carefully selected wines meet a seasonal four-course menu created to complement and elevate each pairing.

This is a chance to meet the makers, hear their stories and experience their wines in the way they were intended to be enjoyed.

Thomas Lorentzen, yfirkokkurinn okkar, er algjör snillingur í smørre! Hér með sérinnflutta dansku kryddsíld@með ýmsu gúmmelaði. Smørre er bara í hádeginu hjá okkur, svo tryggið ykkur borð, nælið ykkur í smörre og skálið í Snaps. Þetta er hádegisstemmingin sem þú vilt ekki missa af.

Thomas Lorentzen, is an absolute smørre wizard. Here with Danish spiced herring that never fails. Smørre is only served at lunch, so book your table, grab some smørre and raise a glass of Snaps. This is the lunch vibe you don’t want to miss.

POP UP: Jakub Ziemann & Agne
(English below)

Jakub var einn af okkur fyrstu starfsmönnum á SKÁL og hefur síðan ferðast um allan heim að vinna á veitingastöðum víðsvegar og er nú yfir eldhúsinu á Lygaria á KEA eyjum í Grikklandi. Agne hefur einnig ferðast um allan heim og unnið á mörgum stöðum. Þau kynntust þegar þau unnu saman á ÓX í um tvö ár.

Hugmyndin þeirra er að endurskapa upplifun frá “Wow Wow Tonight”, litlu izakaya veitingastað í Kyoto sem þau heimsóttu yfir jólin og urðu alveg heiluð af meðan þau unnu í Japan á sama tíma.

Okkur langar að ná að halda verðinu í lágmarki þrátt fyrir ótrúlega skemmtilegan matseðil.

POP UP SERIES: Jakub Ziemann & Agne are taking over SKÁL

Jakub was one of the very first cooks at SKÁL before spending the last years travelling and cooking around the world. He’s now running the kitchen at Lygaria on the island of Kea in Greece. Agne has a similar story. She has cooked in several countries and the two met while working together at ÓX for almost two years.

For this pop-up they are recreating the feeling of “Wow Wow Tonight”, a tiny izakaya in Kyoto that they visited over Christmas. It made a huge impression on them while they were both cooking in Japan at the time.

We’re keeping the price as low as possible even though the menu is loaded with fun and flavour.

Bookings are available 17:30–18:00 and 20:30–21:00.
