Our young challengers sports club which was founded in 1989 registered under youth Servier and sports department, is celebrating its 23rd year of existance.
Leading its way in education, sports,religions and folk activities,our institution has hosted Flood light kabbadi tournment in 1992,Belthangady taluk level youth festival in 1994, Women’s sport meet at taluk level in 1995, District level youth festival in 1999,D.G.N. Bhide memorial District level cricket tournment and a sports meet, health camps, cultural and educational Programmes every year related to a contemporary issue.This has also come to your notice. In the feild of folk, for continuosly 3 years of 2006-07,2007-08 and 2008-09, we have conducted and gained entry to the state level youth festival and on prices in it. In the last 6 years of taluk level youth festival – Our institution has retained the championship crown in the Women’s section.
We are also happy to inform that in the field of Kabbadi our members have achieved in the national level and have lifted the pride of the club. As a part of the society, the club has conducted several environment protection programmes , training camps, awareness programmes, honouring the achievers, adoption of poor students , talent competitions, distribution of books to students, health camps , programmes for children and women. In this light the government has awarded “The Best Youth Club in the District” in the year 2007-08.
In 2009, for the 2nd time, an unforgettable district level Youth festival was conducted by our institution. In the year 2011-12, the members of our club achieved National heights in kabbadi and have kept the light and name of the club high. In the context of folk art, our institution has 60 folk artisits and along with them 42 “ Janapada Vaibhava” programmes from Belthangady to Bangalore. Other than this, folk training camps have been conducted in various schools and colleges.
For the path of success, the institution has a basic facility of a 40 x 30 auditorium. There is also a Multi gym working for the public and a seprate office for the working of the club. We are also happy to inform that there are background and backstage facilities, seating arrangements, sound systems which are to the whole programme.
The institution has participated in the National level Chandanotsava and been awarded the best team and performance. As having a positive effect on the society, with your support, we will still increase our efforts in doing more programmes. We hope you will consider all our achievements.
