STATEMENT Of FACT:
On Thursday Aug. 8th, I Lisa Recatto was locked out of The Bar I personally OPENED for Business on May 29, 2019. Reason being is because the Lease of the Building which My Bar is under is in the name of Austin Butler & Jon McQueary. My Business concluded The Bar at LaJunction. There Business name is AJOCO, LaJunction. They have now made a duplicate fb account using My Business Card as there page. The difference is La Junction is a lower case L. Please Be Aware! I opened The Bar & Daiquiri shop which allowed for 3 Poker Machines in each business. I had no interest in the Poker Machines. Myself & my bartenders maintained a Poker Cash Bag to pay out winning tickets. Shakel, owner of Butch's across the bayou has the investment with Jon/Austin in the Poker Machines. Shakel would come 1-2 times aweek to collect & track all money associated to the Poker Cash Bag. This is State Regulated. I have been working on my investments since November of 2018 getting them set/fixed up to open. I have overcome several electrical & plumbing problems which I personally had fixed in the building. I was an outsider that came into this small town & have met so many wonderful people! I've had a lot of calls/text messages the last couple days since my Post on Thursday stating I will be closed due to uncontrollable circumstances. I had NO idea what Jon/Austin had planned when the called Thursday morning wanting to meet at 2pm for a meeting. They would not let me in the building nor would they let me get Money I have in the safe. The Police could not do Anything for me because my name wasnt on the Actual Lease. So it's a Civil matter in which I've hired an attorney & having to sue them in order to get my Money, equipment, inventory & furnishings. Two grown men whom I thought were my friends turned out to be Greedy Cowards! This experience has been unfathomable! I have bought & paid for EVERYTHING in the building except the 4 round tables with little chairs, a Daiquiri machine ( but bought parts for it) the 2 pool tables, foosball table & ATM machine. Everything else belongs to Me including the Beer & Alcohol they have been selling since Thursday night!! I have $7500 in cash money in the safe along with metal cash box with $180 bar start money & 2 white envelopes ( Anna & Tyra's name on them with there pay from last week working. Talk about feeling helpless...This is Revolting & A Disgrace . Now that all the kinks are worked out & business Is GREAT they've decided they will take over & boot me out of The Business I started & operated! The Loophole was there names only on Actual Lease Agreement. The saying never trust anyone is a very true statement here today. The amount of disappointment I have in Austin Butler & Jon McQueary for behaving like this is sickening to say the least!
I want to Thank each one of My Customers for there love & support yall have shown me. I will keep you posted step by step so everyone is aware of what's happening. Also with a very heavy heart I have CANCELLED The Gumbo Cookoff & Poker Run Scheduled for Sept 7th. I personally have a check that will be returned to Turtles & $60 to Biscuit. All money collected by others will be instructed to be returned this week as well. Both these events were to benefit The Arnaudville Volunteer Fire Dept & Chez Hope Crisis Center. Two very deserving organizations that need our support!
I have Big Plans for this town. I'm not leaving nor am I going very far to OPEN with only My name on The Lease. I have decided to leave the Apartment that I fixed up & had permission to stay in from Shakel, the building owner. As a single woman dont feel safe at this time. I was broken into on Thursday when I took my son to a doctors appointment and again Today . Jon called & wanted to meet at Myrons to talk... I pulled up to my apartment with 2 guys they have working for them taking my AC window unit, which I paid for. Also if you happen to of stopped by The Bar this weekend. I'm sure you heard from the Mother/daughter psycho team that was behind my Bar saying I stolen the AC... When I got in town Tuesday afternoon at 4pm my brand new 5 ton unit was blowing hot air. This just so happened to be my first Tuesday opening & the start of pool league. Tyra was working & can tell you I was upset because it was hot in there 91° & 1st pool night. Cory came to the rescue ! Friday morning I had the outside part of the 5 ton unit picked up. Question? How did I steal a AC Unit that I bought & paid for which belongs to Me??
I've put alot of work & money into The Bar I opened. It breaks my heart to know what lengths Austin Butler & Jon McQueary have steeped to . Greedy, Ungrateful & Evil sums them up! My friends in Arnaudville, I ask is this the type of people you want in our town or to do business with??
