The Tavern Restaurant is the liveliest 80 cover multi-cuisine restaurant in all of Garhwal. Live music, a cocktail bar that would get the best in the business raising their eyebrows, a snacks range to die for, Chinese fare that’s addictive, the Indian non-vegetarian food will get you wanting to meet the chef. Try them here and tell the difference. Now last, but definitely not the least, the sizzlers. For 35 years, the Tavern has been serving the most amazing Red Wine Sizzlers ever created. The décor is colonial, the atmosphere relaxed, fun and yet it has a class about it that leaves you enjoying yourself in a responsible sort of way. Most guests no the staff by name. They’ve been around for over 12 years; ever since the Tavern reopened at the end of ’99. Alam, Bhandari, Rawat, Bishen, Guru are all household names for regular visitors. Now here’s the icing on the cake. Order a Mojito with Chilly Honey potatoes and order a Berry Sweetheart for your better half. Now get a tiny taste of Heaven…
Connexions is the Cyber Café, Pool and Billiards room right above the Tavern. Best place to start the evening. So, while she’s busy checking out her mail, you can walk into the rustic, smokey pool room, sip your chilled Green Apple Vodka Martini, and join the boys for a game.
