JAITU started in 25 january 2008.To its initial start we had few members and now we are team of 30 members in all.We started Gatka with co-operation of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle (Jaitu). We started Gatka using shastars like sticks,swords and a jall(chakra).But after hard practice we included some dangerous stunts to depict bravery and daringness of our sikhi culture. We initially performed ga
tka in small towns and villages of Punjab.But with time,and our increasing publicity we started performing at big cities.With Waheguru’s grace and encouragement from our audiance we performed in cities of Punjab,Haryana,Delhi,Rajasthan,Himachal Pradesh,Odissa, Chatthisgarh and Maharashtra. Our Best moments was when we performed on national telivision channel Sony TV in a show ‘Entertainment Ke liye Kuch Bhi Karega’.We were highly engouraged by this show.After this we shot many religious songs and practiced a lot. Our organisation members are professionaly trained and we have practice of two hours daily at Gurdwara Ganjsar Sahib Jaito.Its members are pursuing study in different courses and all the members are less than 26 years of age.Our proud youngest member is of just five years and he performs with us as well. Now days we are performing at various colleges and stages in state of Punjab. We are glad to announce that we’ll be performing for Bollywood in short time. Our members are involved in many social activities.Our active participation in events of good cause makes us feel proud for our team.With our performance we depict sikh culture and bravery of those sikhs who laid their lives for society .We inspire our young generation to follow path of Guru rather than involving in harmful activities like drug addiction which is ruining our culture ....
