14 days of brewing. Gone in 14 seconds. 😱
Everyone loves drinking craft beer, but very few get to see what happens behind the brewery doors.
This was one of those days every brewer dreads.
We were in the final stage of brewing our Mangorama Mango Lager, carefully infusing fresh Alphonso mango pulp into the beer after nearly 14 days of brewing, fermenting, conditioning, and constant monitoring.
Then, without warning...
The pressure built up.
A valve gave way.
And in just a few seconds, an entire batch came rushing onto the brewery floor.
Fourteen days of patience, precision, and passion disappeared in moments.
It hurt.
Not because it was beer.
But because it represented countless hours of work, every quality check, every temperature adjustment, every gravity reading, and the dedication our brewing team pours into every single batch.
This is the side of craft brewing you rarely see.
Unlike mass-produced beer, every batch we brew is made with care, and sometimes nature, pressure, and equipment have other plans. When that happens, we don't cut corners or compromise. We clean up, learn from it, and start brewing all over again.
So the next time you raise a glass of freshly brewed craft beer at Flow, know that it carries much more than great flavour.
It carries patience.
It carries craftsmanship.
It carries resilience.
And sometimes, it carries the story of the batch that never made it to your glass.
Here's to the people behind every pour. 🍺❤️
