That night wasn't easy

because I've been feeling
a lot of things at the same time,
and that's why every regret
seemed like a crime.

Black has always been a friend to me,
but it became a foe that night,
the longer I stayed with the empty skies
the more I felt the burden of moonlight.

Apologies, chances, and all those lies
flashbacked right in front of my eyes,
the chaos, wars, and storms of mine's
were colliding altogether with my WHYs.

Roses, letters, and eye-contacts
just became a poem with rhyme,
the reality I found in those days
when I wasn't even in the character of mine.

people, conversations, and everything around
became a cup of tea that didn't feel right,
loneliness, silence, and that old wine
were my only companion that night

because I've been feeling
a lot of things at the same time.

Here's the thing about people with a good
heart. You wonder why they are so sensitive. You wonder why they are willing to give so much of themselves with no expectation in return. It's because they don't make you work hard for the attention they give you. It's because they accept the love they thinks they have earned while you accept the love you think you're entitled to. It's because they accepts the apologies you don't mean, they forgives the mistakes you don't learn from, and they forgets the misery you don't stop bringing. Because of their good heart, they have been making excuses for you when you hurt them, they been looking past how cruel of a person you truly are, and They have been ignoring the idea of leaving you because they are just not the kind of people to give up on you. They trust you too easily, they get attached to you too quickly, and fall for you too soon and they know this. but it's not like they can't help it. They just has that good of a heart to be able to see the good in someone and not let your imperfections determine whether or not you're good enough for them. It also makes them believe that you also have a good heart and you're capable of meeting every expectation they have because they do the same for you. But let me tell you something, okay Here's what you should be afraid of. You should be afraid of the day a good heart gives up on you because once that happens, then you've truly lost something valuable and by then, it'll be a little too late for regrets. So if you have a person with a good heart, then you should do everything you can to ensure that they stays good because now you determine whether or not it's worth staying good or its better to be heartless.

You run to them when you are down, they feel just like home to you.

But then, life happens in between. You feel a little bit lost.

They start disappearing gradually from your life, and you start doubting yourself.

The feeling you get when they are gone is indescribable.

You feel homeless, alone and out of your comfort zone.

Since then, you become a different person. A colder one, a person who builds up hundreds of walls.

Breakups are funny I tell you.

One moment, you are crazy about each other, going places, doing everything together.

You wake up, your phone has a text " Good morning love. 🖤 " It says.

You text her back with a smile, roll over and miss her for a while.

You talk for hours at a stretch; YouTube links, favorite shows, forget the rest.

The secrets haven't run out, the sound of her voice is still your favourite song. Your friends complain coz you're on the phone all day long.

Everyone is so happy for you two, and you're happy for yourselves.
You judge other couples. You two are the best.

Dates every week, pictures by the scores. She can't sleep at night without seeing you, you find it cute when she snores.

You have your little inside jokes, stupid secret names you call each other.

Over everyone else, she's your priority, she talks a lot about a future together.

Then the secrets run out, the longings become routine.

You talk a lot less these days, you both have different last seens.

The blue skies disappear. It starts to rain.

The fights become frequent. But love is worth the pain. .

There's some crying, there's a lot of makeup s*x.
You try to hold on coz it's tougher to forget.

It is usually out of the blue, that the road hits a wall.
Something big happens and the sky starts to fall.

You try your best to bend the ways.
Compromise , sacrifice, " oh please won't you stay ?" .

Who gave up first, who moved on first, is always a debate.
Strangers become strangers again,
' a perfect chapter laid to rest. '

Marry a girl, who shines in all her scars, her flaws, and her imperfections. Don't marry a cover-up story. Marry an open book with all its bad chapters, wrong decisions, and a broken heart. Marry a girl, who will stand up tall and say: "Yes, s**t happened, but I am over it".❤

Marry a girl, you will tell your friends about that how lucky you are to have her in your life. Marry a girl, who can be a role model for your daughter.
And yes, most importantly, marry a girl, whom you can adore even at her disgusting best. Even when she will be lying in bed, all sick, smelly bad hair, stinking breath, and looking like a pile of s**t, you should be able to look into her eyes with all your love and say: "You look like s**t, but I love you, so so much. And I am not leaving you until you feel better, planting a big warm kiss on her forehead". And after that, you still should be able to plant a gentle soft kiss on her dry chapped lips. If you think you can't do that, then please don't marry her. Please don't ruin her life. Because she deserves that pure love. She deserves a man, who can love her when she is unlovable. She deserves a man, who is man enough. ❤
