Few people have influenced modern bartending quite like Danil Nevsky

Founder of Indie Bartender, global educator, consultant, and one of hospitality’s most influential voices, Danil Nevsky has spent over 15 years challenging conventions and inspiring bartenders around the world—occasionally while making cocktails mid-skydive or riding shirtless through Kazakhstan.

For us at Spirit Forward, Danil has been a reminder that bartending can be about more than just making drinks. His independent thinking and curiosity have helped shape how we approach hospitality and the kind of professionals we aspire to be.

We grew up watching this man cause constructive chaos across the global bar industry. No one embodies being a spirit forward individual in our line of work than this man.
Now he’s taking over our bar. And if you’re lucky enough, we might just end the night singing Sweet Caroline together.
