Some chefs find their calling. Bikram Sharma from Assam simply never stopped moving toward it.

It started in 2009 at Shanghai Salsa Bar & Restaurant, a young cook from the Northeast, figuring out what a kitchen really means. From there, the journey took him to Bangalore. Counter Culture. Eat Repeat. Each stop sharpening the knife a little more.

Then came The Bier Library. And he never left.
Eight years later, Bikram stands as our Sous Chef, the kind of steady hand that holds a kitchen together when the orders pile up and the heat rises. Quietly dependable. Deeply skilled. The sort of person who makes everything around him run better without making a fuss about it.

Assam gave him his roots. The road gave him his range. And The Bier Library? That’s where he found his home.

There’s always that one drink someone orders purely because the name caught their attention.

Something a little unusual. Slightly mysterious. Different enough to feel worth exploring.

Elven Bloom is that drink. Gin layered with soft litchi sweetness, basil and coconut cream, then balanced into something light, floral and quietly tropical.

And then suddenly the table goes silent for a second after the first sip.
