This Friday at GAG, Hilu and Moscoman meet somewhere outside the obvious.

Moscoman has spent years moving freely between house, acid, techno, dark disco and the stranger corners of dance music, taking that restless approach from Panorama Bar and Glastonbury to Space Miami and beyond. Hilu comes from a similarly borderless place: Detroit roots, Tel Aviv instincts, and a deep record collection moving through house, minimal and electro with a wobbly, psychedelic pulse.

Moscoman built his own musical universe around Disco Halal, while Hilu is the force behind Zaza Island, the Tel Aviv party series shaped by the same digging mentality and appetite for music that doesn’t sit neatly in one box. Different histories, same attraction to the unexpected.

כששואלים אותי איזה מוזיקה אני יוצר - אני עונה - מוזיקה אלקטרונית. כל שאר ההגדרות לא חשובות בעיניי. מוזיקה אלקטרונית היתה המוזיקה שחיפשתי בתור ילד מבלי לדעת שאני מחפש. ברגע ששמעתי צליל של סינטיסייזר בפעם הראשונה ידעתי שאני שם. ושזה אהבה לנצח. המסע שלי עבר בין רחבות טראנס בטבע לקלאבים חשוכים של טכנו.
