Hey everyone I hope you are staying safe and keeping well. So some bad news about level3 lockdown but don't worry we here at The Yawl Inn have decided to open. Protective measures have been put in place so we can open. Friday 9th of October everyone is welcome but spaces will be limited. We hope this is some good news for some people in a time of continued uncertainty and stress. We hope to see you Friday.

All here in The Yawl Inn would like to pass on our condolences to everyone effected by this unprecedented situation we find ourselves in. Highest respect to everyone on the front line and to all those who are helping to stop the spread by practising social distancing and helping those who are most vulnerable. Look after yourself and others. After all this is over and done with and hopefully everything can return to some kind of normality. We here at The Yawl Inn will do our best to help. Times are hard and will take sometime to build after this, but as a country we are resilient. We can over come anything that is thrown at us as we have proven in the past. Let try and keep our chins high follow directions and defeat this. We look forward to to seeing you all healthy and if possible happy once this is all over.

Since the government’s announcement last Thursday that all pubs and restaurants could remain open subject to implementing social distancing guidelines, we as publicans have tried our best to work within those guidelines.

Over the past couple of days, it has become obvious that keeping a safe distance between customers is extremely difficult to achieve, therefore as off 11.30 tonight Westport vintners will be closing for 2 weeks. We will be adhering to all HSE recommendations in relation to social gatherings untill then.
We would like to thank all our customers and are looking forward to opening again.
