‘Oh My Cookies’ Wins LEO Pitch Perfect Competition 🏆

Oriana Ramirez with her business ‘Oh My Cookies’ is the successful 2026 Waterford Pitch Perfect business. The announcement was made by Gareth Evans, Head of Enterprise, Local Enterprise Office Waterford 🎊

‘Oh My Cookies’ creates New York style cookies, cookie bars, and cookie cakes in a fun and indulgent way. Within the past year Oriana has grown her business from an interesting hobby to selling in cafes, online and at markets all over the south east.

Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Waterford, SETU Xcelerate Centre and Boxworks Co Working Space joined forces to deliver this Start Up Competition for those with an innovative business idea or those already in business trading less than 18 months. For a night out in Waterford City Centre, Tramore is one of the best-connected towns in the county to visit Restaurants, Bars, Theatre, Cinema and Festivals

Getting Into Waterford

The Bus Éireann 360 service runs between Tramore and Waterford City every 20–30 minutes throughout the day and evening, with a journey time of approximately 25–30 minutes. The bus serves Tramore Bus Station, Holy Cross, Newtown and other Tramore stops before arriving in the city centre.

The main city centre stops are:

Waterford Bus Station
The Clock Tower
Railway Square
The Mall

These are all within a few minutes' walk of the Apple Market, John Street, restaurants, pubs and live music venues.

Getting Home to Tramore

The good news is that the 360 operates late into the evening.

Recent timetables show departures from Waterford City Centre approximately every 30 minutes in the evening, with buses leaving as late as 11:30pm and midnight, arriving back in Tramore around 25–30 minutes later.

Example Evening Out
Time Activity
6:30pm Bus from Tramore
7:00pm Arrive Waterford City
7:00pm – 11:00pm Dinner, drinks, live music
11:30pm Bus home
Midnight Back in Tramore
Cost

A single fare is typically around €4–€6, with cheaper fares available using a TFI Leap Card.

Why Tramore Works Well for Nightlife

Unlike many towns around Waterford, Tramore has a frequent evening bus service, meaning you can enjoy restaurants, live music, sports, or venues such as the Apple Market area and still get home by public transport without needing a taxi.

For the most up-to-date departure times, check:
Bus Éireann Route 360 Timetable

or use the TFI Live app for real-time departures.

I'm liking how we stack up as Whiskey Bar of the Year -

When you look at the criteria serious whiskey enthusiasts care about, Revolution stacks up exceptionally well:

Over 440 Irish whiskeys are available, including rare and hard-to-find bottlings.
One of Ireland's largest Irish whiskey collections.
Dedicated whiskey tasting experiences and tasting boards.
Historic Midleton Very Rare collection spanning multiple decades.
Award-winning whiskey credentials, including previous national whiskey bar recognition.
Innovative digital whiskey menu and educational whiskey journey for guests.
Strong focus on emerging Irish distillers and independent bottlers.
Ability to sample premium and collectable whiskeys by the dram rather than buying full bottles.

The fact that Revolution was highlighted alongside renowned whiskey destinations such as O'Loclainn's, The Old Town Whiskey Bar and other national whiskey destinations in Irish whiskey industry coverage shows the regard it has earned within the sector.

If I were ranking purely on Irish whiskey selection, innovation, accessibility, and whiskey education in 2026, my personal shortlist would look something like:

Revolution Craft Beer & Whiskey Bar
The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega
O'Loclainn's Irish Whiskey Bar
The Palace Bar
Garavan's Bar

The unique thing about Revolution is that it combines a massive whiskey collection, modern digital whiskey discovery tools, tasting experiences, and a city-centre hospitality venue rather than being simply a traditional whiskey pub. That combination is relatively rare in Ireland and makes a compelling case for a Top 5 position nationally.
