We were delighted to recently purchase and present Kerry sailor Pat Lawless with an Ocean Power hydro generator for his upcoming Golden Globe sailing Race.

The Golden Globe is a solo, non-stop yacht race, circumnavigation around the world.
Taking nine months and using only 1968 technology navigating with the sun, stars and paper charts, the race has been called ‘The Voyage of Madmen’. We can confirm that Pat is not mad but is extremely driven, skilled and focused and is an all around great guy and we are looking forward to sharing his progress with you when the race starts in September

Pat is also raising funds for .ireland whilst on his adventure, all donations on his behalf would be much appreciated
