🚒 A morning at sea

Marie had the honour of joining the Viktoria this morning as the 88m timber ship was guided out through the channel by pilot Andrew Henderson.

From on board, Marie enjoyed a bird’s-eye view of Rosses Point, Oyster Island and of course Coney Island, making for a truly magical experience.

The Viktoria is a timber ship and is believed to be the longest vessel that can navigate the channel into Sligo. Marie also spotted the St John life buoy on board, thought to have originally come from the Bahamas.

A very special morning and an experience Marie says she’ll never forget. 🌊🚒
