Throughout the 1970’s and early 80’s Coolera House was infamous for its wild nights and musical reputation where the likes of Marianne Faithful, Christy Moore, The Wolfe Tones, Johnny McEvoy, Planxty, Brendan Grace and Midnight Well, to name but a few, graced it’s stage. Since the new millennium Coolera has fittingly restored its ties with the very best contemporary music, albeit a new generation,

and has seen top Irish acts such as Damien Rice, Perry Blake, Turn and The Frames play in recent times. Music is once again becoming a centrepiece in the venue with regular shows that vary from folk sounds to alternative rock.
