With a heavy 💙 we have to announce that The Bistro will close for the last time this Saturday at 8pm. We've done everything we can to try and overcome the challenges that we've faced over the last year. Price increases in everything food , energy and all the bits in between. Unfortunately, overheads continue to rise steadily and so we're left with no choice only close the door for one final time.
A shout out to everyone who popped in to visit us and share our love of great food and singing!!..🎶🎵 Thanks for all the reviews and the memories made over cups of tea ☕️ or a glass of vino 🍷.
Thanks to all our suppliers who supported us everyday, you know who you are, we won't single you out!!!!
But most importantly of all, a huge heartfelt thanks to the incredible team, both past and present, who brought The Bistro to life. Gerard, Helen, Orla, Emily, Lorcan and Daire. Thank you to each one of you for all that you brought to the table!!. Its been an incredible experience.
For anyone with gift vouchers, just pop in over the next few days and we'll be happy to honour them. Thanks again. PJ.....

Yet another delicious homemade dessert, lemon cheesecake with our mint and strawberry salad..🍓🌱🍋. All our desserts and ice creams are homemade. If there is a particular choice of ice cream you'd like just let us know and we'll create it for you. Why not tag your buddies and maybe have a super Sundae on Sunday!!!. My oh my!!! How gorgeous does this look? And I can tell you, it tastes unreal. Little lemon posset's.🍋 with a strawberry and mint salad🌱🍓So light and fluffy, a must on these hot days. We have lots of new cakes, bakes and treats added to our menu. Why not pop in and try them for yourself. We're now open 7 days, 10 to 5 with late opening Friday's and Saturday's till 10pm. The clock is ticking down to the start of this year's and we are super proud of our very own Dara Bonner who is participating this weekend. Wishing Dara, all the drivers, navigators, service teams, sponsors and everyone involved the very best of luck for a safe and successful rally. We'll be here all week, open from 10am and till late from Thursday all through the weekend with something for all tastes. Don't forget we're licenced for beer and wine guys. I just cannot cope with this glorious food. Look at the colours on that plate, talk about a healthy option. It just doesn't get better than this for me. And the flavours are just banging, as they say in Clare. So, let me list what I just had for lunch. Freshly made bacon, cheese and spinach quiche courtesy of . accompanied by a few of our new homemade salad selections apple, white cabbage and carrot slaw. Beetroot, apple & walnut salad and broccoli & sugar snap salad with a little lemon & chilli mayo. Felt like i was eating a rainbow!!🌈. We are working hard to everyday to offer homemade menu choices. Our Keeley's Corner with freshly baked treats has gone down an absolute blast this week. So far we've baked lemon drizzle cake, chocolate & salted caramel cake, vanilla, white chocolate and raspberry muffins, banana & walnut loaf and mini apple tartlets. Today our made gluten free caramel squares. What a super star 🌟 There a batch of homemade vanilla ice cream in the freezer for the weekend so get yourselves over for a cuppa and catch up with the girls or boys and let us take care of the rest..... if this is a taste of Summer then sign me up for a daily dose.
