Well what could you say??

When it comes to some things, people are just inherently good natured. As soon as you mention "a fundraiser for the river search and rescue" people just want to help, and donate and make sure it's a success... and thats what's happened this weekend here at Murray's.. from the get go, people were ringing and texting offering their help, local businesses giving spot prizes for our raffle, the customers throwing what change they have in the bucket, buying raffle tickets, some lads throwing in the entry fee for the pool and not even playing, the craic with the lads who came for the darts, from as far as Rathnure and compile, it all just adds up to leave you feeling happy about what you have done. I've said it before, I have the best staff here in the world, always ready to help, go the extra mile, and all of them put in the effort to help make this weekend go well.. so my thank you has to cover EVERYBODY! and it does.. it doesn't feel like work when the people around you are as good as they are..

Taking Monday off to chill.. oh no wait, I'm working at 6pm!! Oh well..

Bank holiday Sunday at Murray's Bar

It's all about the darts this afternoon at Murray's Bar, all in aid of the river search and rescue, names in for about 3.30pm and kicking off for 4pm.. singles, and hopefully some doubles and whatever other craic can be had.. all welcome, any skill level!!

Anyone taking part in the darts will get €5 pints as our tiny way of saying thanks for playing!!

Late bar tonight until 2.30a.m

Darts Sunday hopefully about 4pm start, again all for a great cause, a bit of craic to be had, we will play singles and then hopefully we can put some doubles together too..
