Tydavnet Community Childcare Committee delighted as project reaches important milestone

The Tydavnet Community Childcare Committee has welcomed the granting of planning permission for the proposed temporary community childcare facility in Tydavnet.

The planning permission provides for the installation of an adapted prefabricated unit to accommodate the proposed temporary community childcare facility, along with the associated works required to make the site fully operational.

The Committee is particularly pleased to see the project now progressing through the planning process and said that reaching this stage demonstrates what can be achieved when a local community comes together around a shared vision.

The project has involved considerable work behind the scenes, and the Committee thanked everyone who has contributed their time, expertise and support to getting the development to this point.

The Committee is also appealing to people in Tydavnet and the surrounding areas to get involved and be part of something special. As the project continues to grow, so too does the need for people who are willing to give their time, ideas, skills and energy to help shape the future of community childcare in the area.

Shane Treanor here 26 from Tydavnet, Monaghan. I’m a mechanic by trade and always around to help out on the farm. I enjoy contracting during the summer, going for a run and meeting new people.

I’ve travelled to nice parts of the world but always happy to return home. Friendly, helpful and always up for a laugh, I’m looking forward the experience of being a Rose of Tralee Es**rt.
