Important Announcement- The Arch Bar has closed 😔.
It is with sadness that we share the news that The Arch Bar has officially closed its doors.
Following Frankie's declining health in recent years, the decision was made to call time on some great years in the pub. While it is an end of an era, it is also a time to look back at the many years of laughter, friendship, music&dance and all the memories that filled the place 😃.
Frankie and his family would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful staff who stood behind the bar over the years, and every single person who ever stopped in 😊.
Thank you to all our suppliers, talented musicians and every individual who supported or contributed to The Arch throughout the years. Thank you also to our neighbours here on Barrack street, Frankie's friends, whether you were a regular at the counter or just passing through for a drink and a chat.
A very special word of thanks to Monika, Ann, Bridie, Mary, Anna, Martin (RIP), Micky, Pat, Liam, Bobby, Terence, Bones and so many others who were part of the heart beat of The Arch Bar, helping hands behind the scenes, week in and week out. Your loyalty, kindness and spirit made the Arch what it was.
