End of an era.Today marks a long goodbye to the building we all know as Gerry Mullins motorbike shop,one of the last longest standing houses on Smith Lane. Gerry himself (rip) was a great character remembered for his quick wit and and always telling you he hadn't a shillin , while asking you were you stuck at the same time! Not to mention the cooking of the Turkeys and hams on Christmas eve all in the one pot over an open fire for the Fitzgerald and Mullins families. Great customers and loyal friends to Pat Tobin and his own family throughout the years. Good times and bad ,both families would be here on a sat night for a game of cards, arguing the odds over 2p !All now long gone before us but fondly and openly spoke about with great memories through the years....
